Q. First animation you were a fan of?

TAEYONG: When I was young, my sister’s room was the only one with an air conditioner. So, she only allows me to turn on the air con when I go to her room and watch Ghibli movies. I could sleep there. I watched “Ponyo on the cliff” It wasn’t the first Ghibli movie I saw, but I remember it the most. 

Q. First thing you bought with your own money? 

TAEYONG: Shoes. The Nike Air Jordan that I bought for dance. Oh, I think it was Jordan 1, but I think it wasn’t that popular.

Q. First movie you watched in the cinema?

TAEYONG: I think the first thing I watched was “Shrek.” I went to the mall with my mom. When I said I wanted to see a movie, my mom bought me popcorn and coke, saying, “Go to see it alone.” So I watched the movie alone for the first time. The movie moved me and I thought, “My family has no money so I was sent alone because we couldn’t go all together.” In fact, I recently found out when I was talking to my family, and it turned out that my mother sent me alone because she wanted to go shopping. So, in many ways, I’m impressed.

Q. First dance you learned?

TAEYONG: Rain sunbaenim’s “Rainism”. I was watching a friend who was practicing for an academic performance and followed his dance moves.

Q. First concert? 

TAEYONG: This is the first time I went to SMTOWN LIVE in Seoul in 2012, I was a trainee at the time, so I saw it from the fans seat. It was raining in the middle of summer, so I wore raincoats. I felt like everyone became one! BoA noona’s stage was really cool.

Q. First song you sang in front of people?

TAEYONG: When I was in kindergarten, I sang “A Square Box.” (Laughs) When I was in kindergarten, I used to be on stage a lot. At that time, I acted like my father, put radish on my hair, and stood on stage. I was nervous, but you don’t look nervous in the picture, and I looked confident. I think that led to the present me. It feels like fate.

FIRST DATE

Q. Where would you like to go and do on your first date?

TAEYONG: I really want to go to an amusement park. I think it’s a great place to be touchy. Plus, it’s easy to hide naturally! Oh, include “naturally,” please

Q. Fashion do you want your girlfriend to wear on your first date?

TAEYONG: White shirt, jeans, or a sweatshirt. I wouldn’t really mind.

THE FIRST JAPAN

Q. First Japanese food you ate?

TAEYONG: Maybe the takoyaki that I ate on SMTOWN LIVE in Japan. Emphasize “hot”. I burned my mouth! I ate a lot because it was so delicious!

Q. Most memorable during the First Japan tour?

TAEYONG: I had a lot of challenges for the first time, so I was surrounded by various things, and I had a hard time working with them and showing them to many people. There are a lot of things that need to be fixed, made or done so that I can look out for the members.
