You can’t spell beauty without TY

Since pre-debut Taeyong has amazed knetizens, idols and professionals from the K-Pop industry with his unforgettable features. Therefore, you’ll certainly find people referring to him as outstanding or mesmerizing, and that’s not an exaggeration. As a visual and center in NCT and center in SuperM, Taeyong impresses everyone with his beauty! 

Commonly referred to as Aphrodite’s son by his fans, Taeyong has a very masculine and sharp jawline, big eyes, outlined lips and delicate features that, when combined, create an unrealistic visual, often compared with anime characters. This comparison became even more evident in 2020, when Taeyong trended on Twitter after the release of his teasers for the SuperM single ‘100’. With his visible scar, odd eye, two-toned hair color, and intense gaze, Taeyong had a Todoroki Style that amazed K-pop and anime fans. This is an iconic look that demonstrates how stylists aren’t afraid to experiment with Taeyong’s hair colours, styles and makeup since he won’t be overshadowed by any of it.

His fashion sense, paired with his charisma, also contributes to his exuberant beauty. Taeyong is always attentive to details like colours, patterns and accessories combinations, because he sees the outfits and makeup as a complement to the concept and songs he performs. Therefore, he is constantly contributing suggestions to the stylists about what he thinks would suit him best. Taeyong is also super creative about his outfit choices, especially when the topic is his airport fashion, which highlights his beauty and artistic personality very well.

From minimalistic to exaggerated looks, Taeyong can easily adapt himself to any concept and that has a lot to do with his facial expressions and attitude. To illustrate, we can use any of his performances on stage or a photoshoot section: Taeyong’s cute and innocent boba eyes can be transformed into a mesmerizing and intimidating gaze in a matter of seconds. That’s probably a result of his innate duality and model instincts that makes him naturally go from sexy to cute, becoming almost unrecognizable!

Now, considering that I’m his fan, maybe you might think that what I just wrote is simply a biased opinion, however a lot of people acknowledge how beautiful he is. As an example, Taeyong took first place in “The prettiest male idol chosen by 100 idols” and he is constantly ranking on TC Candler’s top 100 most handsome faces.

For five years I-Magazine has announced winners for the Fashion Face Awards in partnership with Adobe, and Taeyong’s highest position until now was in 2020 occupying the 10th place on the list. The criteria is based on the analysis of a facial recognition software from Adobe and votes from film directors and photographers from the I-Magazine team.

Earlier this year, KPOP monster made a top 10 with the most outstanding visuals in NCT and Taeyong was chosen as first place. As for KDramaStars, he is part of the “Top 5 Best Visual Center Idol of K-Pop”
